OUR STORY
HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Instantly famous when its doors were opened more than 20 years ago, the restaurant with the quaint name “Mallard’s” is the part of a long history of entrepreneurship in Ryan Dyer’s family. In January 2002 they bought “Relics” in Huntingdon and converted it to Mallard’s, a restaurant that has achieved startling success owing to Ryan’s good cooking and a supportive community. It quickly became a full time job. Ryan elaborates, “One part of being in business is that you have to give back to the community.” Mallard’s success increased with the popularity of The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center which is located right next door.

LOVE SERVED HERE

A stranger entered the door at Mallards, and found friends before leaving.

His experience while there gave him a feel of belonging.

The kindness, the meal that was served with a smile made his day complete and his time complete and worth while.

So friend if you are hungry and your spirit needs a lift, carry it to Mallards and you will find a sweet gift.

Signed,

A faithful patron
